TANGLE LAKES, ALASKA

Denali Hwy.-Spectacular Scenery & Uncrowded Campgrounds!

sunny

blog2_Tang..es__51_.jpg Wow! Love this place! 130 miles of gravel, but we only went about 10 of it to find this (dry-camping) campground. Pretty rugged for us to get our big RV into, but Jimboni likes the challenge! Lots of mosquitos, so we wore hat nets to cover our faces. Except V - why? Because I take my garlic pill everyday while in Alaska & those boogers don't seem to land & bite me-yippee! Loaded w/fish & very popular for canoe/kayakers. In fact, the campground was busier than usual because there was a big kayak tour group in there for the weekend. Local Alaskans love this place! Me too.
Can you find our rig?
